The goals of the project are to produce validated pandemic guidelines for the transport sector, as well as to provide an integrated toolbox to counter threats caused by the intentional spread of highly dangerous pathogens. Producing such guidelines and a toolbox is challenging and requires a multidisciplinary approach. As a result, the PANDHUB project has been building up with experts who collectively constitute a consortium which can address all of the tasks required to achieve the targets.
In order to ensure the validity of the results, a Stakeholder Liaison Group is formed from relevant stakeholders and authorities involved in handling of pandemics or high threat pathogen incidents in transport hubs. The Liaison Group provides guidance in the requirements development, assessment of the developed tools and evaluation of the project outcomes.
