NBC 2018 symposium on CBRNE threats will take place in Rovaniemi, Finland on June 4 – 7, 2018.
PANDHUB Final Symposium was held on 6th of March 2018 in Brussels .
The continuous growth of global travel around the world facilitates the quick and sometimes uncontrollable spread of naturally or intentionally released person-to-person transmissible pathogens around the world. Air travel will be the key to the spreading of such pathogens internationally, while mass transportation systems may offer an effective way of accelerating the spread of infectious diseases within communities. This is mainly because of the high density of passengers in enclosed spaces, and high contact rates.
The aim of the project is to aid transport operators and relevant actors in transport hubs in the
development of their current pandemic and dangerous pathogen preparedness and response plans. The project is intended to cover the extraordinary aspects specific to pathogen threats in the transport environment
